I was solely responsible for all aspects of TruffleHunters online trading activity across 9 countries including UK, US (United States), Europe (France, Germany, Spain and Italy), Japan and Hong Kong. This includes handling their marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, Ebay), Own Website (WooCommerce), Digital Marketing, CRO (A/B Split Testing), Merchandising, Promotional Activity, Email marketing, Data Analytics, Advertising (Amazon, Google and Bing), etc. Amazon marketing was a key aspect of this role, as Amazon UK and US were key channels. This involved PPC, Listing Optimisation, Promotional Activity, EBC, Brand Registry, and More. I was successful in consistently increasing sales and achieving growth of 100%+.

I was involved in all aspects of merchandising ProCooks online presence including category management, sequencing, forecasting, reporting, promotions, FBA, stock reconciliation. My role was diverse and encompasses more aspects than a traditional merchandising role.

I worked in an online business, providing support wherever needed. I dealt with packing orders, checking inventory, processing stock, accounts (profit and loss, profit margins etc.), administration, ordering/buying stock, supplier management, account management, email and telephone based customer service and sourcing products. I also managed new employees, and I was responsible for training them. I supported the owners in a PA role, and manage the business whilst they’re away. A main duty of this role is to liaise with clients/accounts. This involves negotiating fees, organising deliveries, solving any problems that may arise and general account management duties. I identified sales opportunities, product opportunities, competitor analysis, basic copywriting etc. I also provided a high level of customer service to customers over the phone and by email. This is often to track lost packages, replace broken items and to re-assure the customer about when to expect delivery. In addition I also undertook P.A. duties to the Managing Director. This involves organising meetings and travel, interviewing and training new staff, and overseeing the day to day activities of the company.

I made and sold natural beauty products online. This was only a part time business, and is more of a hobby to me.
