It's been a long, winding, soulful journey. I have been lucky enough to find people that coached, mentored and championed me along the way. I have been lucky enough to find industries that fed my passions and creativity. I have been lucky enough to find positions that allowed me to use my strengths and challenged me to grow my skills and learn new things. I have been lucky enough to find out what it was like to be an entrepreneur and to understand that path is not meant for me. I have come to learn that operations (both processes and people) is my superpower. I work best when I have structure and can work in a collaborative environment and yet have autonomy. I am at my most creative and thoughts and ideas flow easily when I am part of an inclusive culture. I believe that processes and people must work in tandem in order to thrive. I believe that our best work happens when we are inspired and can in turn inspire others. I believe we should bring love into the workplace so we can create deep meaningful connections with the people we work side-by-side with. I believe we all want to be part of something that is larger than ourselves and that we all have the opportunity to bring our energy, gifts and talents to the table to create movements. I believe movements require collective energy that needs to be nurtured. And that happens when we create environments where we feel safe, loved and supported. We must feel like we belong in order for our energy to move in the same direction at the same time.
