Interns at KHSC Ltd. are engaged in various tasks associated with a number of projects. These projects include, but are not limited to sampling claims paid by insurers for financial auditing and determination of restitution based on the findings auditors and constructing statistical models to be used in market segmentation and marketing campaigns. Current audit clients include NYS Office of the Medicaid Inspector General; Office of Audit Services, NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities; and the Connecticut Department of Health. Interns will be responsible for designing stratified sampling plans and producing reports on each audit for clients. Marketing analytic clients include banks and international credit card companies and the National Basketball Association. A current one time project is concerned with making adjustments for non-response in an analysis of health needs of retired NFL players.
