I live in Ketchum, Idaho, where I own a private practice treating individuals in person and via tele health. I am certified to treat individuals in Idaho and in California. I've been professionally treating as a speech language pathologist for over 20 years and have worked in multiple areas of service (eg. private practice, schools, specialized schools, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital care, home health and early intervention). I have lived and worked in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, California, London, UK and currently in Ketchum, Idaho. Early on in my career I specialized in working with children with autism and their families and early intervention. I continue to be passionate about autism and have expanded my scope to work with those affected by neurological conditions (i.e. traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia). In addition to working with these conditions, I'm also passionate about working with children and adults who have difficulty with executive functioning. Challenges with executive functioning can be caused by an accident or other developmental cause such as autism, Asperger's disorder, ADHD and can also be present without a specific diagnosis. Executive functioning affects all of us as it can best be defined as our brain's "personal assistant" and assists all of our abilities to organize, plan, follow through and self regulate our emotions.
