As Procurement Clerk/Expediter for the Impala Canada Procurement Team, I help to keep 875+ employees at our Finance Office and Lac des Iles Mine Camp safe, well-supplied and productively mining palladium. Palladium is a critical metal used in catalytic converters to reduce harmful emissions from gas-powered vehicles. Impala Canada is proud to be one of the biggest operators in the Thunder Bay area. Our approachable, transparent team wants to forge new partnerships with local materials and services suppliers to contribute even more to the local economy. It takes a lot of stuff to mine our stuff, so show us your stuff!I expedite orders that are late or missing, reconcile vouchers, trouble-shoot for suppliers registering on our Procurement Portal, provide purchasing support for direct charge items, and perform KPI-related tasks such as tracking KPIs, attending monthly meetings, and building a KPIs dashboard. I previously worked at the Mine Site as Executive Assistant/Mine Clerk at the Lac des Iles Mine Site and enjoy the enhanced structure and challenge this new role provides.Born and raised in Dorion, Ontario, I am known for my excellent organization skills, positive outlook and very helpful attitude.
