I have worked in the Life Science industry for 15+ years. I started out as a machine operator making filters and medical devices for pharmaceutical companies in clean room environments. I was also a certified trainer, tech operator, and a member of our EPIC and SWATT teams. I moved up to a Calibration Technician II position 6+ years ago. I now calibrate the machinery and tools used to manufacture these filters. My job requires Quality Assurance, precision, data entry, the ability to read and follow SOPs, create deviations and keep up with FDA, ISO, and GMP standards.
