I tutor students at various mathematical levels ranging from middle school through college. I have experience tutoring students with various disabilities and special needs, academic track students, and AP students.

I worked as a substitute teacher in the Dumont Public Schools.

I completed my student teaching experience at Pompton Lakes High School, working with five classes. I taught Geometry and Introduction to College Math, the latter sometimes referred to as Advanced Algebra/Trig in other districts.

I wrote weekly articles for The Odyssey Online, a millennial journal with a community based on my college campus. This was an opportunity to showcase and develop my skills as a writer, especially at a time where a great deal of my college coursework was based in mathematics.

I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for the EOF Summer Program for the summer 2015 and summer 2016 for the Transitional Math classes for incoming college freshmen. This position is similar to that of a teacher's assistant at large colleges and universities. It entails attending classes held by a professor and monitoring student behavior while taking notes on the course content, creating and conducting supplemental instruction sessions to help the students better understand the material, monitoring students' library hours, holding open tutoring sessions, and getting involved in general programming and floor meetings throughout the summer.

I assessed a group of middle school students on their reading and writing strengths, needs, and interests. Then, using this assessment, planned and held lessons once a week to strengthen their literacy skills. This was completed as a fieldwork experience for the teacher education program at Ramapo College of New Jersey and supervised by a professor.

I spent one half day each week at the school, first meeting with the mathematics supervisor and then observing and sometimes assisting in different classes. This experience enabled me to enter mathematics classrooms of all levels ranging from resource room to AP Statistics.

I shadowed one teacher for a few hours each week, taking notes and completing observation reports.

As a camp counselor, I spent each day planning and leading activities for the fifth grade campers.
