I have 10+ years of teaching experience. My first career was as a Graphic Designer specializing mostly in print with some web design. I have written, developed and modified curriculum for use in my classroom and for others and incorporate my graphic design experience into designs for my classroom and school. I am an award winning designer and children's book author/illustrator.I enjoy public speaking and can quickly think on my feet. I regularly adapt to new situations and am able to deal with unexpected challenges with ease. I enjoy working with a collaborative team or on my own, whichever is what the job requires. I am a self-starter and can work flexible hours. I can manage a large group, handle multiple distractions, stressful situations.I am fluent in Adobe InDesign and the Creative Suite. I use Microsoft products daily and have run online meetings through teams and zoom. In my free time I paint watercolors and create hand-drawn coloring pages for others to enjoy.I am looking for a creative, positive, fun environment for my next career.
