I am lucky to work on multiple projects within the ACFP, including the annual Family Medicine Summit, the Clinical Connections Conference Webinar Series, and the Collaborative Mentorship Network for Chronic Pain and Addiction (CMN). My passion is seeing opportunities for professional development come to life, and working alongside several committees of amazingly dedicated family physicians, who are working hard to bring exceptional care to patients across Alberta.

I supported a caseload of individuals with various developmental disabilities in achieving their employment and volunteer goals. Through professional and personal development workshops I was able to get to know each individual and what it means to them to achieve meaningful employment in their community. Serving the Tri-Municipal area, the focus was on job development; connecting employers with a great fit for their team - whether it be employment, volunteer, or work experience. I provided job coaching to ensure that each person received the individualized assistance they needed to become successful in their new role, for the long-term. Making communities stronger one relationship at a time was a privilege and a passion combined.

Coordinated the needs of over 250 volunteers throughout Edmonton, Grande Prairie and Calgary. This included the recruitment, interviewing, training and support of volunteers as well as their placement in various roles and their recognition. Simultaneously matching them with foster dogs in training and organizing a training schedule and various training workshops, fundraising events, and community events.

Grant Macewan University, Edmonton

- Analyzed the needs and goals of students in order to provide feedback on resumes, mock interviews and LinkedIn profiles to help them pursue their career goals.- Demonstrated the ability to develop a teaching dynamic in which there is constructive interchange that results in the students learning and reproducing these skills.- Performed clerical duties such as booking appointments and responding to all requests with punctuality and genuine inclination to provide assistance where needed.- Conducted presentations in classes with clarity, demonstrating the ability to take on a leadership position and respond to the needs of the audience.

Pembina River Provincial Park

- Resolved all disputes to the satisfaction of all parties in coordination with conservation officers.- Executed sales, check-ins, reservations, site maintenance requests and inquiries with ease while maintaining an inviting and positive atmosphere.- Provided customers with comprehensive information about the park, the river, the trails and other activities to ensure a pleasant stay.- Maintained knowledge about the occupancy and status of the park to provide a safe and secure environment for all customers.
