I am currently the Administrative Support Coordinator for Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) at Penn State University Park. I support the Executive Director of PACE as well as the PACE Finance Director and the Director of Engaged Scholarships. I also serve as backup for Conferences and Institutes, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (UP and York), Justice and Safety Institute, Shavers Creek Environmental Center, and the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia CITY Centers. My responsibilities include a variety of administrative duties such as maintaining supervisor(s) meeting schedules; coordination and meeting preparation; assisting in communications; answering phones; acting as backup support for the 10 PACE Directors as needed; act as timekeeper for all of PACE staff in Workday; coordinating travel arrangements; maintaining inventory of office equipment and supplies; distribution of mail; greeting visitors; establishing and maintaining office files and providing general office support to the PACE and Outreach departments. I have added backup support for part time hiring, processing supplemental payments, running WorkDay reports, and entering details into WorkLion. I also process Labor Distributions in SIMBA and serve as a backup to process certifications across the university.
