•Provide overall supervision to instructional support service programs to include: Network Team Equivalent for 14 component districts, professional development, school improvement, literacy and math services, district support services, school library system, model schools, RSE-TASC, regional summer school and enrichment services.•Responsible for the development and monitoring of budgets totaling over $1.5 million.•Strengthened regions LINKS process, based on New York State Comprehensive District Education Plan, to include school improvement based on a professional learning communities model.•Research and facilitate initiatives to identify and support school district and BOCES leaders to include regional monthly Principals’ Meetings and summer Leadership Academy. Activities include presentations on instructional coaching, curriculum mapping, collaborative problem solving, the new 3 R’s-Rigor, Relevance and Relationships, tenure and effective teacher evaluation strategies, formative assessment, RTI, best practices in literacy (guided reading, fluency, vocabulary, 6+1, etc.) and best practices in math (standards based, manipulatives, relevant, student centered).•Technology initiatives include regular departmental use of blogs and video conferencing, selection and development of website. •Provide information, support, training, and technical assistance to BOCES and school districts in implementation of state and Federal initiatives to include; New York State Regents Reform Agenda, No Child Left Behind (e.g., adequate yearly progress and title funds), and Compact For Excellence.•Member of the Foundation Board for Commerce Chenango, Commerce Chenango Youth Leadership Advisory Committee, Catskill Regional Center Teacher Center Policy Board

Consistent membership on the Literacy and Math Audits teams to include co-authoring Literacy Audit and Math Audit reports. Assisted with the development of the AIS Appraisal and training of district self-study teams. •Research support for BOCES departments and district staff to include a quarterly Research Brief and data analysis (i.e., Enrollment Survey) regarding public and nonpublic school enrollment in our region.•Coordination of enrichment services to include Arts in Education, the Regional Spelling Bee, Women Helping Girls Make Choices, and Odyssey of the Mind.•Assisted component districts with compliance through the Home School Review Service and as the Homeless Liaison for the DCMO BOCES.•Key Communicator with Greene Central School District for the voter approved $48 million DCMO BOCES facilities project.•Grant identification and development for BOCES based programming or a consortium of component school districts.
