Developing and leading two week-long summer camps for grades 4-8. The first focusing on local Baltimore history from pre-colonial times to the present day, and the second focusing on folklore and myth all around the world. Substitute and Administrative duties include supporting staff on an as-needed basis.

Frederick

Duties include dating and identifying historic coins, both American and international - entering data into Google Docs and Excel, doing inventory on large collections, working under quick deadlines, and creating reference databases through research. Reliant on knowledge of professional photography, online sales, numismatic grading scales, and an ability to decipher the date/origin of items given very little information. In 2021 I was given additional roles in the Marketing Team and have been writing blog posts and historical descriptions for our website. Since 2020 this position has been remote. In 2022 I accepted a contractor position to specialize in identifying high-end historic international coins.

Mountain City Traditional Arts is a non-profit business through Frostburg State University and houses 75 local folk artists from Allegheny and Garrett Counties with the intention of documenting and preserving the culture of Appalachian Western Maryland. Duties included opening and closing shop independently, setting up artist displays, bookkeeping, and advertising events and performances through social media.

Easton

Collection & museum were under new management who wanted to update and modernize, duties included: updating and organizing collection database using museum software, accessioning new items into the database as well as labeling them and storing them, sitting in on board meetings to offer insight on the physical collection as designers and board members were planning two new exhibits in a newly renovated museum, and aiding Talbot County residents and in accessing items and documents in the collection for independent research.
