"On the Other Side of the Fence" has been recognized by the United Nations for Extraordinary Public Service, is the Mid-Atlantic Emmy winner for Documentary and recipient of the Silver Telly (highest honor) and Gold Medalist at the New York International Film Festival. The film follows the process of this unique musical theater framework specifically designed and directed by music therapist Andrea Green to promote empathy, compassion and acceptance. Film director Henry Nevison takes an inside look into the developing relationships between the children from Germantown Friends School and the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy as they participate in rehearsals and in performance.
