Responsible for overseeing and coordinating redevelopment discussions and planning sessions, planning, budgeting, and executing home inventory improvements. Directly supervised and led Community management and maintenance operations for approximately 680 "rental homes" servicing Air Force Academy personnel and other Federal Government eligible personnel. Annually managed over $15M in revenues. Reports directly to the Vice President Military Housing, Forest City Residential.

Leads the Project’s property management and maintenance management teams servicing over 1,450 families at three diverse Air Force properties in two states. Responsible for planning, controlling, and directing the day to day operations in compliance with the Project’s Management Plan and other governing documents. Develops and executes the annual budget in excess of $30M ensuring tenant relations remain at high levels maximizing occupancy and project revenues. Responsible for marketability of $1B in rental assets. Oversee long-term and short-term strategic property renovations and reinvestment plan objectives. Responsible for managing Air Force, subcontractor, and community relationships.

Lead 93 USAF hotels consisting of 30k beds and +6k employees. Establish franchise procedures and programs for: Operations, Standards & Evaluations, Staffing & Training, Construction & Facilities, Telecommunications, IT, Resource Management, and Contracting & Procurement. Administer $175M annual budget. Define Joint Basing, and Base Realignment & Closure (BRAC) requirements. Aid base operations through unchartered transitions. Transformed 93 properties under 11 regions into DoD’s 1st single franchise-like corporate entity in <2 years. Blended commercial hospitality trends with USAF mission requirements, leading strategic planning. Expanded IT program from single-service CPU-based system into enterprise solution involving all DoD services; linked 4 military services and 200 global properties. Cut costs ~30% and streamlined capitalization project procurement, structuring and negotiating multiple contracts. Doubled annual capital expenditures for property renovations from $50M to $100M. Designed, planned and built 8 hotels and remodeled another 45+ during 5 year tenure.

Direct headquarters operations for over 250 dining operations, 93 lodging operations, and 125 fitness operations in all corners of globe. Provide headquarters with reports and updates on all war and peacetime mortuary services provided. Represent functional experts before senior USAF leadership. Deliver regular executive-level presentations. Supervised 5 senior functional directors. Mitigated negative impacts due to frequent turnover in executive-level position, partnering with peers to serve as advocate of services. Handpicked to serve as interim executive leader 5 separate times for periods lasting up to 6 months due to advanced strategic planning, problem solving, and leadership abilities.

Led largest unit on base and largest unit of its kind within Air Combat Command. Oversaw 5 senior managers, 40 activity managers and 800 staff members delivering variety of entertainment services. Restored integrity to previously faltering organization, rebuilding entire operation and team following prior unethical leadership. Rebuilt staff morale and senior leadership’s confidence, re-instilling organizational pride, and identifying and removing underperforming staff. Garnered multiple Major Command and Air Force level awards for Lodging, Skills Development, Food Operations, Readiness, and multiple individual staff awards within 1st 12 months in role.
