Since ShoreTel’s acquisition of M5 in 2012, my scope has broadened to include the customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle and accountability for a large portion of the departmental P&L, which has maintained >25% annual growth. Through leading projects to provide visibility to customer-level profitability and improve management and front-line decision-making, I have helped more than doubled the monthly recurring revenue base in 3 years, and improved gross margins by more than 5%. The success of these projects, including implementation of a new billing & OSS, Salesforce Service Cloud and adoption of Tableau reporting, was dependent on superior teamwork and leveraging an Agile software development methodology.

My original role was with M5 Networks, where I directed post-sale delivery of services and managed a broad program of customer-facing support. Customer Success as the priority, launching an NPS program, driving an overall industry leading NPS >40% enabled the organization to provide top-notch customer experience. This type of leadership and innovation was a primary reason for M5's reputation in the industry for superior customer satisfaction and led to growth of revenue >35% YOY through more than 10 years, generating cumulative billings of >$400M, an industry-leading < -1% monthly churn rate, and ultimately a 5x revenue sale to ShoreTel in 2012.

I built strong customer relationships by understanding the technology behind the products I sold and matching them with the clients’ needs. When it came time to sell and transfer assets, I put clients first, executing a strong operational transition to ensure customers continued to receive stable service and expert support.
