18percent is a peer-to-peer mental health support group run on Slack with over 10,000 members communicating everyday. I have helped to shape our growing community by designing and maintaining our website and as part of the core strategy team working to move the platform forward with new ideas and initiatives. In addition, I am a lead moderator regularly talking to members struggling with mental health and help them to work through their problems. I also lead the creation of our monthly mental heath resources newsletter sent out to thousands of subscribers. This is a pro-bono position.

U.S. Digital Response (USDR) helps governments meet the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis by strengthening decision-making and supporting their ability to effectively deliver critical services to the public at scale.I am a volunteer UX designer, researcher, and content strategist working to help governments improve the UX and information architecture of their services.
