Vice President of the Board - FLARE for Elder Care is designed to educate, guide, and help fund financial gaps for home care or placement care for elders. The acronym for F.L.A.R.E is Funding, Locating, Accessing, Resources, and Education for Elder Care. The purpose is to help seniors who require care. The funding aid would be for both parties, ones that do not qualify for Medicaid waiver benefits or Veteran benefits or those that are eligible for benefits but are waiting for their application to be processed (usually 3 to 6 months.) This initiative will ensure that seniors have access to necessary care for their safety and well-being. It will also reduce the risk of crisis and concerns for the person and their family. Additionally, it may decrease unnecessary healthcare hospital and other related expenses.

• Managed Safety, Health, and Environment programs for 8 NAO facilities, including 3 in Mexico.• Oversaw both internal and external ISO audits, evaluated the performance of each audit, and created a roadmap strategy for leadership. Prepared the company to transition to a regional umbrella, saving around $25k/per year.• Spearheaded an international Audit Exchange program that led to significant improvements in processes. Each year, met with my team to calibrate auditors, schedule audits, discuss lessons learned, address non-conformances, and review corrective actions.• Implemented an Action Plan reporting system with data capture for global managers to access information. First to house in on an e-community platform.• Benchmarked and tracked the volume and cost of Environment and Energy, totaling approximately 10 million, to support NAO initiatives.
