My current responsibilities include the following…Full responsibility of the apparel and accessories buy, this includes all aspects of Minimums, Failed Orders, Priorities, Pull Forwards, IBM, IBM Migration and the Dedicated Ship. Responsible for Tennis Apparel, Women’s Originals Apparel and all Licensed/Commercial Football clubs kits including Chelsea, West Ham United, Fulham, Scotland and Irish Football associations to name a few, ensuring Purchase orders are placed accurately, on time and are tracking in at 100% Drive fluid cross-functional communication across the business on order tracking through ALMs (Aligned Logistics Meetings), to support key strategic accounts and global product launches. Identifying any delays and working with factories and Global teams to push for improvements where possible. Subcontracting/Local Article Creation – I was part of the project team to design and roll-out new processes for management of embellished product through the systems, ensuring subcontracting processes run smoothly, purchase orders and delivery notes created in good time and labelling/barcode data is provided to third party suppliers to enable smooth transitions into the Warehouse and customers. Support the collation of team metrics - Ensuring regular and accurate flow of data to update the business. These include OTIF (On Time in Full) & KPI measures - Ensuring all monthly targets are met wherever possible – consistently achieving > 90 % on-time ex-factory. Non – Conformance - Warranting issues from the warehouse in relation to incorrect labelling, packaging and embellishment issues are raised with the QC department and the factory, helping the QC team to raise claims and requesting discounts from incorrectly decorated garments with factories. Training and mentoring of Purchasing Assistants - Providing support to ensure that their duties of amendments, cancellations and assisting with buying purchase orders are done to the best of their abilities.
