Project manage the Council’s good going travel awareness campaign promoting the use of healthy and environmentally friendly travel options. Includes organising events promoting walking, cycling, public transport, car sharing etc; and ongoing representation at London-wide going good going meetings. Coordinate the Council’s Working Group to plan and organise local borough involvement in the Tour de France when it passes through on 7/8 July 2007. Developed and currently implementing the Council’s Green Travel Plan and coordinating the Travel Plan Working Group. Represent Council on the London European Partnership for Transport (set up to improve the level of communication, cooperation and investment that exists between London, London boroughs and the European Union).

Walking and Cycling Steering Group member for the implementation planning of the national walking and cycling strategy. Involved strategic policy analysis towards development of a strategic and action plan; project management and coordination, external stakeholder liaison; and working within politically sensitive environments and tight deadlines.Ministry Travel Plan Was involved leading project planning and scoping; internal consultation; planning and running Steering Group meetings; towards developing an internal Ministry travel plan encouraging sustainable travel.Coordinated Ministry’s contribution to the Positive Aging Strategy and the NZ Disability Strategy. Drafted Ministerial briefings to the Minister, Ministerials (responses to letters to the Minister), and responses to Official Information Act requests.
