Innovative Services, Inc. is a non-profit company founded in Green Bay that provides residential and mental health services to adults and youth. We have expanded throughout the state of Wisconsin and developed our services to encompass developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, advanced aging, dementia, respite, crisis response and nearly any component you could imagine. If someone has a need for services, we have a commitment to develop something to suit their needs.As the Vice President of Administration, on-going responsibilities include oversight and support of our administrative teams, marketing and the operational support team. I also work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors with governance activities.

As Executive Director, on-going responsibilities included oversight and support of Finance, Mental Health Supports and Human Resources, including Learning & Development. I also served as a liaison to and work closely with the Board of Directors.

I had the privilege to serve on the Board of Directors, actively participating in the governance of the organization.

As a project manager, responsibilities included managing our social media presence and image, researching requests for proposals to evaluate potential business opportunities, distributing and analyzing results from internal and external customer satisfaction surveys and facilitating our internal Caregiver and Manager of the Year awards. Routine responsibilities often were related to human resources including development of job descriptions and policy as well as special projects related to changes in health care and development of a salary structure.

My role at CMI was to provide human resources support to the non-profit service organizations, Innovative Services, Inc. and Community Homes of Milwaukee.

I served on the board of directors to facilitating communication with our members. We look forward to continued development of local human resources professionals.

Innovative Services, Inc. is a non-profit company based in Green Bay that provides residential and vocational services to developmentally disabled adults and adults/youth with mental health issues. The organization expanded throughout Wisconsin and developed services to encompass developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, advanced aging, dementia, respite, crisis response and nearly any component you could imagine. I began when the organization had less than 50 employees as the sole employee in Human Resources. Throughout my time with the organization, I provided the support needed to grow to more than 900 employees and expand across the state of Wisconsin. As part of that, I developed a Human Resources department to support the needs of a growing organization. As the Human Resources Director, I managed a team of 4 people in addition to our interns. Through my years at Innovative Services, I handled every aspect of Human Resources. My background in journalism led me to create our company newsletter. I also managed payroll for the first several years before transitioning that function to the Accounting Department. My hands-on experience in the early years enabled me to better support my team and the entire organization in the later years.
