About Kerry Chon

MCIPS and IACCM qualified procurement professional with over 10 years of experience in providing specialist advice and guidance on all areas of procurement and contract management to a range of departments in Central and Local Government. Currently, I'm a Category Manager at the City of London Corporation, an organisation steeped in history and tradition. In this role I've lead a number of high profile and complex projects across FM, Construction and Land Management and have implemented change by influencing key stakeholders across the organisation. I enjoy developing procurement strategies and delivering procurement projects which support and strengthen the corporate objectives of the overall organisation and deliver benefits such as efficiencies, savings and income generation. Previously, I was the Commercial Contract Manager for the MoJ Private Prison Estate, managing a portfolio of spend exceeding £60m per annum. I was responsible for ensuring private prison operators deliver the contract to the required standards, adherence to contract T&Cs as well as lead negotiations to implement contractual changes.
