To supervise and deliver a comprehensive payroll service to the organisation, ensuring that all colleagues are paid correctly and on time, that regulatory and statutory returns are completed and filed, and that high quality data is produced for company management. Responsibilities include: A point of contact for colleagues and managers within the company on all elements of the payroll process  Responding to all complex payroll related queries, though various communication methods, in a timely manner End to end payroll experience including starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP etc. Administration of variable and non-variable pay Keeping up to date with any payroll legislation or taxation changes and ensure relevant people are informed and system changes implemented to ensure compliance with all legislation Process statutory deductions including PAYE, TAX, NI, SSP, SMP through to undertaking manual calculations, monthly reporting and analysis  Fully competent with SAP and HR Access  Part of Payroll lead for the consideration and implementation of new SAP system including blue UAT and management Continued support of UAT testing for all SAP enhancements, including the recommendation and implementation of improvements to processes and procedures Manual input and manipulation of T&C anomalies  The successful monthly payroll for over 9,000 colleague Deputising for Payroll manager
