I came back to Evans Cycles, Glasgow city centre, during the pandemic in 2020 which was an extremely busy and difficult time in the bike industry. This was the busiest period I had ever experienced during my time at Evans Cycles and was when I had to use my best customer service experience due to supply issues and store policies during the pandemic. During this time our company also under went a owner change over which was challenging and was something that we all had to adapt to, to be able to keep our shop running smoothly. Lanzarote

During my year living in Lanzarote I worked in the Bar and Restaurant for the 8 months that it was open. I held the roles of waitress, barmaid and cleaner, and for a period of time was the lead on the restaurant floor. This job was very outside of my comfort zone as it was in a country where I didn’t speak the main language fluently, which made communication a challenge but was something that the team and myself worked through. My time at Grillen was a big learning experience and gave me experience of working in a fast paced environment.
