I miss my retail days as a Manager in grocery because of the high volume of people I was honored to interact with daily, and in banking, it's about quality time with those that I am honored to serve. No matter where I have landed in my working career in grocery, or banking, I have made life long connections. I always extend dignity, no matter who you are, because your story matters.As we slowly move beyond the fog of Covid days, and the levels of impact personally and professionally, I will always value the time I spent with my small business clients at KeyBank. As we slowly walked through uncharted waters together and successfully secured SBA lending through Cares Act PPP lending to help them stay afloat, their faith in me drove me to new levels of commitment to my clients; my friends. It also started my intentional habit of walking every night after work down by Bellingham Bay, or Birch Bay. To experience the stillness, the quiet, and the eerie absence of people enjoying the waterfront will stay with me forever, but the importance of 'self' care taught me so much more about our need to have balance in life.Currently, you may find me somewhere between Lynden all the way to Seattle on any given day, building relationships with our auto dealerships for Industrial Credit Union in the beautiful PNW! It is absolutely the perfect position for me, and we have had record breaking success in the past year! I value the respect and reception that I have been given. It has been a tough couple years for the auto industry, but these hardworking people show up every day to help you get into your next car. I respect their perseverance! The best perk: I never get tired of the beauty I get to enjoy as I drive up and down I-5. I recently passed the Washington State Broker's Exam, and joined Weichert, Realtors group. When your Financial Planner son tells you you'll have to have a part-time job when you eventually retire, I figured it was time to lay the foundation for life after punching a clock for decades. Part time for now! A girls got to keep the day job she enjoys now! Truly blessed, indeed!
