I own and operate this not-for-profit, facilitating educational and support groups for new and expectant parents covering a range of topics such as maternal and infant mental health, infant development and preparing for baby. I provide individualised support for families with adjusting to early parenthood andnavigating challenges, such as with infant sleep, feeding and managing new routines and occupations. Additional roles have included co-editor and author of a local parent and baby publication and organising and managing local baby fairs and similar events.

Multi-sensory classes for babies and toddlers, with an element of messy play to enhance fine motor skills and reduce sensory defensiveness. Through co-engagement of new experiences and engaging activities, parents and babies/toddlers spent valuable time together, while parents learned about their child’s sensory and motor development via the information and guidance provided.

Role included drawing up intervention plans for children with autism using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis; to train and assess tutors on the principles of ABA and each client's individual intervention programme; to lead frequent team meetings while assessing effectiveness of core programme and to make appropriate adjustments as required; to support parents with the process of funding through local authorities; to work with schools and other additional settings to provide optimal environments for learning for each individual client.
