My resume describes some of my previous experiences and capabilities, but I would like to describe how Ithink they would make me a great fit for any organization. My experience selecting, purchasing, and working with machine, electrical, and pneumatic components is expansive and, though my knowledge in some areas isdeeper than others, I am confident that I can find the pertinent information and then quickly build aworking knowledge and apply it to whatever situation arises. I am more than familiar with SolidWorks,having used it in college, and my previous company used Solid Edge, which is very similar. I am proficient in designing parts and assemblies and producing drawings for machining and fabrication. I have been exposed to GD&T but it was seldom needed at my previous employer. In addition to my design abilities, my shop and hands-on skills would complement most organizations well, in that I can fill different roles simultaneously and accomplish tasks with little supervision. Having said that, I would like to be part of a team and work alongside others with more experience; I am very eager to learn and grow.
