Based in Inverness, Innes & Mackay has been providing a wide range of legal services throughout the Highlands for 140 years. The documented history of the firm dates back to 1874, but it is understood that as far back as 1769 Innes & Mackay was involved in a case relating to the release of peat diggings!Today we assist clients in Inverness and across the Highlands with legal and property matters. Led by a team of five directors, we provide assistance with Conveyancing, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Power of Attorney and Guardianships, Wills and Executries and Property sales and purchase.The team services a geographical area exceeding 10,000 square miles being predominantly the Highlands and Islands but also some Sheriff Courts in Moray and Aberdeenshire and serving clients in locations throughout Scotland including Skye, Wick, Caithness, Sutherland and Wester Ross. We take pride in the fact that we are prepared to literally go the extra mile for our clients irrespective of distance. We aim to deliver a quality legal service to all of our clients, irrespective of their location or financial circumstances.I am the Practice Manager at Innes & Mackay, this is a very varied role in which i aid the Directors with the running and profession of the firm I also deal with all marketing, social media, networking and events for the firm. I am the first point of contact for all adverts and articles undertaken by the company and liaise closely with a number of different organisations to arrange these. I deal with all aspects of social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and also our own website making sure these are up to date on a daily basis. I also deal with and arrange all events that are attended by the firm and organise all sponsorship and charitable donations supported by the company.
