Thermo Systems was headquartered out of East Windsor, NJ with field offices in Pittsburgh, PA, West Point, PA, Uxbridge, MA, Mountain Pass, CA and Manama, Bahrain. I reported directly to the principals of this 50+ person company. I led the Worldwide Business Development Team which consisted of six (6) individuals: four (4) Business Development Managers, one (1) Sales Engineer, and one (1) Administrator. This team focused on developing business in United States and Canada as well as the emerging markets of Mexico, Europe, and the Middle East.When I started with Thermo Systems, the company was comprised of eight (8) employees. I was brought onboard in 2002 to lead the business development efforts and help grow the company. By 2012, the company had grown to more than 50 employees and 600% of its 2002 revenue.As the Director of Business Development (BD) I was responsible for:1. Developing and achieving the Annual Sales Plan2. Reporting monthly forecasted sales and sales results to Principals3. Hiring new team members4. Guiding and overseeing the strategy of BD Team5. My primary business function was to work directly with owners, construction management firms, and consultants in order to develop new business for the branch. I estimated all of my own projects. In each of my four years, I exceeded my business goals. By bringing in accounts such as Crompton Corporation, I clearly demonstrated my ability to bring on and manage significant clientele.

I managed key accounts and developed new business in the New York/New Jersey area. During my tenure, I also functioned as acting branch manager. I hired and managed administrative staff, submitted budgets to home office and lobbied for funding of capital expenditures. I interviewed all prospective employees.

Assisted municipalities and small businesses in implementing energy savings initiatives. Often functioned as the "owners representative" during the implementation of HVAC controls modifications and lighting upgrades. Was responsible for the oversight of the project closeout, commissioning, and training.
