In the past I have worked with many small businesses improving their Financial Systems, ensuring filing deadlines are met and financial standards are complied to.I worked as an Auditor for a period of time which enabled me to fine-tune those skills to maintain compliance and good financial structure. I particularly enjoyed my assigned projects where I was able to asses a companies structure and recommend changes to improve, streamline and increase productivity and revenue.My previous financial position allowed me to improve financial and operational systems in the business within a team which was very rewarding.I took a two year sabbatical to embark on personal growth by taking an English Literature degree. Whilst studying I assisted the family business implementing the techniques and strategies I had learned and taught.I then returned to Medica in a new challenging capacity; preparing documentation for doctors to revalidate and maintaining fitness to practice which I found interesting. Good communication, organisation and an eye for detail was key to that role. Moved to a local position as a bookkeeper/administrator at care home in Westfield, part of the Greensleeves charity. Was hands on with ensuring resident comfort and safety whilst ensuring the finances of the Home run smoothly.Took on Purchase Ledger duties for the Head Office in London in addition to my bookkeeping duties.Left Whitegates in order to pursue my small jewellery business and retained my purchase ledger administrator role for Greensleeves Head Office.
