Serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization. The President shall preside at all meetings. It shall be the President's duty to supervise the activities of the organization; to present a report at the annual meeting; to appoint the Chairmen and members of standing and any special committees; to attend the NAMSS National Conference on behalf of the AKAMSP membership and to perform such other duties as deemed necessary by the officers or membership of AKAMSP.

in the absence of, or because of incapacity of the President, perform the aforementioned duties and assume the responsibility of the President. The President-Elect shall serve as the Bylaws Committee and the EducationCommittees Chairperson.

The custodian of all records and funds of AKAMSP including current membership roster and collection of membership dues. Record the proceedings and prepare the minutes of AKAMSP meetings, prepare and distribute notification of such meetings, and any other membership correspondence; with the Finance Committee, prepared for the annual audit, and present the annual budget report at the annual business meeting subsequent to the annual audit; shall perform such other duties as necessary to coordinate and advance AKAMSP objectives.

Preforms duties with minimal direction or supervision. Work with highly confidential information. Review and process credentials files and create credentialing report to present to committee. Run activity reports out of EMR; Meditech and EPIC.

Answer phones for Health Management, Education departments and director, schedule appts for DM, diet and Cardiac patients, manage 6 peoples calendars, schedule CPR classes for students, system administrator for HealthStream Education online

Answer incoming and in-house calls to the hospital to direct caller to call destination. Place long distance calls for Doctors and nurses. Monitor alarms such as fire, codes, and gas panels. Overhead page announcements and phone calls. Type logs and policies in word and excel. Get things done quick and efficiently

Provide food, water, and exercise for boarded pets, maintain exercise room, and hallways with the use of disinfectants, take reservations from the public for to board their pets. Assist doctors, give vaccines to patients, stock materials, answer phones and make appointments, perform radiographs. Groom dogs and cats the way owners want them groomed, enter charges into the computer, check clients in and out, answer phones and make appointments, shop for supplies needed for the hospital.
