After completing my Occupational Therapy degree and gaining clinical experience in both the private and public health sectors, I opened the doors of Occupational Therapy Mackay in 2010. After a few years of practicing in a sole community-based capacity, to work in with the needs of my growing family, I have developed a highly professional, talented team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Administrative Professionals to provide quality adolescent and adult Occupational Therapy services to our town (Mackay, QLD) and district. I hold special interest in adult neurological conditions and the impact these conditions have on daily functional performance and capacity. I especially enjoy working in the field of neuro-diversity, skill development and cognitive rehabilitation. I hold membership with OT Australia and SARRAH and am an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist. Professionally, my greatest achievement is the team culture at OT Mackay. I love to work with OT’s that share my passion for assisting others in their chosen occupations. I pride myself in fostering a uniquely flexible workplace and value individualised service provision and collaborative care with other service providers, allied health professionals and organisations in our district. One of the favourite aspects of my working life is being able to use my clinical experience to assist others and mentor our team towards providing the highest quality care possible.
