Automate the least cost routing rate and pricing calculations for the top four products. Reduce the turn around time for these two rate updates from quarterly to monthly. The automation resulted in a direct reduction/reallocation of departmental head count. In addition, upstream source data and logic was corrected or enhanced allowing all processes downstream to benefit. Rates are applied more accurately and forecast model functionality was added.
