Kerry Campbell Work Experience Details
  • Blackbaud

    Blackbaud Jul 2022 - Present
    Charleston, South Carolina, Us
I manage the internal platform product SKY UX which is Blackbaud’s open source Angular component library as well as internal development tools and shared user experiences across products. Working with a fantastic team of engineers, we ensure that the library supports best practices around quality, testing, accessibility, and security. Driving efficiency of internal teams is a key goal to make sure that they can provide as much value to our customers as possible while building action oriented user experiences.

  • Navex Global
    Product Manager - Platform
    Navex Global May 2019 - Dec 2020
    Lake Oswego, Or, Us
I was responsible in leading the Platform initiative that has taken our strong independent products and made them work better together with our initial 1.0 release in June of 2020. This not only allowed for business growth of cross selling customers into multiple products but gave value to our customers when purchasing multiple products that enabled them to more seamlessly provide a complete compliance program to their employees.I led the adoption of parts of the LeSS and SAFe frameworks that best fit our business needs as we worked to coordinate across 6 requirement area backlogs to drive towards the Platform Vision. Having the high level understanding across all these teams enabled me to consistently communicate the overall status of our initiatives to our executives and board.I also worked with our UX team to continue to iterate on the design of our product integrations so that we could establish a long lasting vision for 20+ engineering teams. With many user personas across the different products, it was key to have an understanding of how each of these users saw their interaction with the platform evolve over time.
  • Navex Global
    Product Manager - User Management
    Navex Global Mar 2018 - Apr 2019
    Lake Oswego, Or, Us
As both the Product Manager and Product Owner for our User Management team I was responsible for maintaining and growing the initial foundation of our Platform that allowed customers to manage users in one place if they had multiple products. I worked with customers and internal stakeholders to understand why adoption of this lightweight solution had been low and found that it was due to missing features that they were able to get within the user management systems of our individual products as well as a user experience that caused confusion. Taking in the feedback on what was not working with the current tool, I was able to design a vision of the solution that helped lay the foundation of the Platform initiative that I would later lead. Having establish the need to expand this functionality I worked with Engineering to make the case for more development support and grew the requirements area from one to three teams.
  • Ecova
    Product Owner
    Ecova Aug 2016 - Mar 2018
    Spokane, Wa, Us
As the Midstream Product Owner I was responsible for maintaining and executing the Midstream backlog, reviewing existing programs' requests for enhancement, and providing sales support. I supported a local development team and an offshore team who delivered: a new website for Distributors enhancing existing features and rolling out a new user experience, an inspection feature that automatically evaluates Distributor performance, launched two new programs, and added HVAC and Hot Water Heaters to the existing Lighting platform expanding the Midstream offering. These project were delivered to the business on time and both projects were based and agile planning methodologies depending on what was more appropriate for the work that needed to be done. I was also responsible for the larger communication of feature completion both internally and externally so I was also able to provide demos/training to internal users as well as clients who were seeing the enhancements within their programs.
  • Ecova
    Program Analyst
    Ecova Apr 2015 - Jul 2016
    Spokane, Wa, Us
Functioning as a Business Analyst and Process Owner supporting new and existing programs, I translated Program Team need's into technical and process driven solutions. Working primarily with our Commercial Midstream programs, I standardized the Salesforce implementation for the three Programs who had been executed in different architectures. For these projects I worked with development teams in both waterfall and scrum frameworks defining requirements. With a standardized architecture I was able to start the initial definition of the Midstream Product as Ecova transformed into a Product driven organization.
  • Ecova
    Senior Specialist, Incentive Processing
    Ecova Jan 2014 - Apr 2015
    Spokane, Wa, Us
As the Sr Incentive Processor I was responsible for defining the data entry process for inputting rebates in a program type that had not been implemented at Ecova before. After finalizing the initial process I worked with the Client to define reporting needs which I translated into a Salesforce dashboard after working with IT to complete needed system enhancements.
  • Genentech
