Assistant Site Manager
CurrentMaintain and oversee a safe site, safe customers and staff, safe infrastructure and safe equipment.Employ, train and build a happy, engaged and professional team who can deliver excellent customer service.Increase revenue by attracting customers, providing availability, upselling and increasing secondary spend.Ensure efficient staffing by creating staff rotas, keeping and submitting records of hours worked, holidays and absences. Recruiting and training staff with probation reviews and regular performance appraisals and training and development plans.Holding team meetings and maintaining clear communication with the team especially regarding operational changes and company updates.Work with support staff to develop opportunities at site. Assist in organising and contacting commercial event groups; attend meetings with local business groups and land owners; help develop new activities for the site; attend regular managers training and meetings both remotely and in person throughout the UK.Inspect, maintain and repair PPE and safety equipment and keep accurate records of it.Accurately provide unbiased, factual reports of accidents and incidents at site, including gathering evidence and investigating incidents. Leasing with support teams to spot themes and prevent reoccurrences.Maintain a working knowledge of H&S law, employment law, GDPR, technical processes and company policies and procedures to ensure the site complies and adheres to all requirements.Provide and oversee First Aid and emergency customer care and assistance. In the absence of the Commercial Site Manager - take on responsibilities for the running of the site with remote support from the Regional Operations Manager.
