Kerry provides leadership and strategic direction to the Table Mountain Fund and aims to ensure maximum conservation and social impact on their financial investments. In her position as fund manager she is responsible for granting oversight, operational and project budgeting, stakeholder collaboration, governance facilitation, communications and fund raising.

Kerry was responsible for translating highly technical systematic conservation plans into action and implementation plans for a broad range of natural-resource management and protection stakeholders. These included local, provincial or national land-use decision makers, land-use planners, private Environmental Impact Assessment practitioners or Protected Area expansion practitioners.She was also lead author on the Western Cape Protected Area Expansion Strategy 2015 - 2020 and a contributor to the earlier 2010 - 2015 version.

Kerry managed the CAPE Fine-scale Biodiversity Planning Project. This project was funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the World Bank as part of the Cape Action for People and the Environment Programme (CAPE) Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development Project (BCSD) -coordinated and executed by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). The project produced five systematic biodiversity plans (Critical Biodiversity Area Maps) for the Cape Floristic Region) and four accompanying Biodiversity Sector Handbooks .

Kerry was an Environmental Officer reviewing development impact assessments and Strategic Environmental Assessments.
