About Kerry Marshall

Kerry Marshall is vice president of marketing and communications for NAPEO: The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, representing companies that provide HR solutions for small businesses. At NAPEO, Marshall is leading an industry-wide effort aimed at improving the visibility and market share of the PEO industry. The campaign, which centers around the catch-phrase "Keep Calm and Call a PEO," seeks to educate small business owners and the public at large about the benefits of using a PEO.She has 20 years of experience in the communications field, with an emphasis on policy and business communications and strategic marketing and messaging. Prior to joining NAPEO, Marshall ran Hen Communications, a communications consulting operation with a variety of clients, ranging from non-profit organizations to government agencies. She formerly was assistant vice president for communications and media at the National Association of Manufacturers, where she spearheaded a number of innovative programs, including an award-winning nationwide public relations effort to improve the image of careers in manufacturing. Marshall also served as a spokesperson on a variety of policy issues, including health care, workforce policy, and taxes. Prior to joining the NAM, she was Manager of Communications at ERIC, the ERISA Industry Committee.
