After a short spell of unemployment I joined Glenrothes branch to assist with sales growth and to support the existing team as Business Development Lead, along with this came the opportunity to help grow online sales with small team of colleagues. Developing live chat 'TAWK' functionality, resolving customer queries and complaints, order input for both branch and direct orders and take central sales calls for both Thornbridge and Rembrand Websites.

DI role supported tenants and service users in 26 local authority areas providing advice and training on basic digital skills, energy and money management. I also had a 2 month extension in IT carrying out Technical Support role for housing Feb - 31st March 2019, planning, managing and carrying out training sessions in a timely, cost-effective manner and reporting back to Head of Department.

Reviewed OJEU notices and used PCS to find new opportunities in the Social housing/Local Authority areas. Assist with tender responses, networked throughout Scotland and NE England. Attended events, promote managed services, produced monthly reports on KPI's. Latterly working with Keyline Central Scotland in the TP Group, promoting new products, meeting suppliers, attend training sessions, prepare quotes and handle complaints and manage appointments.

Worked closely with internal sales team to improve customer service, managed and developed account base throughout Scotland for sheet material sales, handled and resolved quality/service issues. Responsible for growth of 74% with National Customer (TP). Exceeded sales target to reach over £2m in 2006.

1996-1999 Internal Salesperson. 1999-2001 Key Account Manager, managed all key accounts from building and construction businesses to independent merchants within central and southern Scotland, this area generated sales in excess of £4m and 18,000m3 (2001).Nov 2001-March 2005 Internet Sales Manager, responsible for promoting and channel shifting clients to new sales portal. Testing, developing website and working closely with IT team. Reporting directly to the UK Sales Director, first year £310k and grew to £2.9m by the end of 2004. Accounts were merchants, distributors and industrial clients.
