Business Home Lending provides specialist retail support to the Relationship Managed Clients of Corporate Financial Services, Local Business Banking, Regional and AgriBusiness as well as the CBA Small Business segment. As a Business Home Lending Specialist my role is to deliver Home Lending expertise and meet the home loan requirements of the CBA Small Business segment, Local Business Banking (LBB) and Regional and AgriBusiness (RAB) clients. As a Business Banker for all micro RAB clients in Victoria and Tasmania Australia. My role was to generate new money business opportunities within Regional Business Banking’s micro business market, as well as to enhance customer satisfaction.Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) provides a comprehensive range of services to small business, corporate and agribusiness customers located in regional Australia. Our vision is to excel at securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities throughout regional Australia. The RAB business is made up of a number of diverse sales and service teams, along with operational and support teams. We have over 500 people, located in over 70 sites across Australia. Our business is supported by specialists, business partners and support teams across the Group.The Regional Business Banking team is responsible for driving new money opportunities in the micro segment across commercial and agri industries. We currently manage a large micro client book across the country.

As a Business Banking Specialist I was primarily responsible for actioning leads to generate new business opportunities that would increase revenue and market share primarily across Local Business Banking. This was achieved via processing activities dedicated to actioning sales based leads with the overall objective of ensuring that our clients financial products are the most appropriate for their needs. The department fills the important function of capitalising on all opportunities to obtain new business during the course of customer contacts.
