CCI is a cohort-based learning program for community radio stations serving rural and underrepresented communities. In partnership wth the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the initial pilot provided training, mentorship and technical assistance for 10 stations over an 18-monthspan between 2018 and 2019. The purpose of this first CCI cohort was not only to serve the participating stations, but to shape and strengthen the initiative for future cohorts, andto identify promising practices for the broader public radio community in support of long-termsustainability and enhanced public service.KZUM's focus was to build a podcast program that would aim to serve underrepresented voices Lincoln.
