Qualified RMN since 2006. 7 years experience within the NHS working within secure hospitals and forensic psychiatry, with a particular interest in personality disorder and self harm behaviours.Moved into occupational health in 2013 with Thames Valley Police taking responsibility for half of the force area. Since 2014 actively involved with Mind's blue light programme, leading on this for the force. Developed the Thames Valley Blue Light Network which seeks to challenge mental health discrimination within the organisation and provide training and awareness activities. Founded the TVP Peer Support Network in 2016 which actively encourages those with a mental health difficulty to support others as part of their recovery journey. Assisted in the development of a National Peer Support training programme for first responders with Oscar Kilo (National Police Wellbeing Service). Currently co-ordinating Peer Support and post trauma support with Thames Valley Police in addition to a clinical advisory role.
