Axis41 is a digital marketing agency offering a full stack of advertising and marketing services. While at Axis41 I was able to work with many talented minds while on the executive committee which included other department directors. I oversaw the Accounting and Finance function in the company up until it was acquired by a much larger agency. Roles included hiring team members, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, 401k Administration, Monthly Closing functions; Account Reconciliations, Financial Statement creation, Report Generation, Reporting Review while providing guidance, making recommendations and advising Company Decision Makers.

BellaVita Goup was a Direct Sales company that manufactured and sold various health related products. The majority of revenue came from several Asia markets including Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong and Malaysia. My role was the entire Accounting and Finance function. Tasks included raising capital in various forms, through Debt Financing (Traditional, Private and Bridge Loans), and Equity Based. Also created Forecasts and projections for Capital Raising activities while negotiating new markets and managing vendor relationships. Created and implemented company accounting procedures including payables, payroll and major transaction approval. Enjoyed some business travel to other markets as well.

Capital Premium Financing is a Commercial Insurance Financing/Specialty Lending company. While at Capital I was able to work directly with the Controller, CFO and President/CEO of the company and various projects. I implemented an Agency Acquisition program where Capital could lend to Agents to acquire other agencies. I also streamlined monthly close(reducing monthly close from 5 days down to 1) and reporting processes while reducing the time to completion making information more available more quickly for decision makers. Responsibilities included Balance Sheet reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations (12-16 various bank accounts), General Ledger Management and Management of Processes and Procedure and Accounting Policy.

Zions Bank is a large regional bank located in Utah and Idaho. I managed several commercial loan portfolios, performing customers financial analysis, measuring covenants and determining credit worthiness. Also worked in a Specialty Lending group that would lend to highly leverage companies that typically included Equity Sponsored deals, or Merger and Acquisition Financing. Monitored loan portfolios per Sarbanes and Oxley Acts requirements and FDIC requirements to maintain the highest lending standards. All while evaluating clients based on company financial statements,; Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows and Proforma statements, evaluating Accounts Receivable, Inventory and other fixed assets.
