Director - PBATS, Accounting, Taxation and Advisory ServicesI am a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 20 years' experience in practice in the city.PBATS was founded by my fellow Director, Martin Beales in 2019, with a vision to develop a practice which focused on delivering a superior service and quality product to its clients. The practice has flourished and grown significantly with me joining as a full time Director in 2024.Together we have an extensive skill set and breadth of experience, leaving us extremely well placed to advise our clients on the growth, successes and challenges their businesses experience.Skills/ExperienceI previously specialised in contentious insolvency and investigation cases. The first 10 years of my career were spent working in Insolvency firms, primarily on investigative cases.Upon qualifying (ACCA), I moved into forensics applying my investigation skills to different types of dispute work such as shareholder and partnership disputes, matrimonial disputes and proceeds of crime cases.More recently I worked for Grant Thornton in the Insolvency and Asset Recovery (IAR) team, which is the largest contentious insolvency team in the UK and as Director in the contentious insolvency team in London for Azets.I have built a significant network of valuable business relationships with lawyers, barristers, and other professionals in the accountancy and insolvency industry, which I will be using to further the growth of PBATS and support our existing client base.I look forward to using my broad range of skills and experience as I focus on driving the firm’s growth strategy.
