Regional Homeless Coordinator
CurrentThe Regional Homeless Coordinator is responsible for leading Jefferson County and municipalities on all aspects of homelessness in the region. This position establishes effective strategies and solutions to reduce homelessness by using data-driven solutions and resources available at the county, state, and federal levels. The Regional Homeless Coordinator works in collaboration with County and City Managers, County Department and Division Directors, Non-Profit Executive Directors, and law enforcement agencies. Leads the Heading Home committee efforts to ensure that activities align with the goals and objectives as defined by municipal and county government leadership. Serves as the lead for county-wide governance on all matters related to homelessness in Jefferson County. This position identifies government and community infrastructure gaps and develops strategies and policies to improve homelessness intervention and prevention services.
