Kerry is responsible for developing & implementing a community engagement strategy to drive awareness, uptake and ongoing use of a digital suite of solutions for healthy ageing (branded LiveUp) nationally.LiveUp is an Ageing Well Initiative, funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care and focused on providing information on healthy ageing, assistive technology & community connections to older people. Kerry was responsible for developing effective individual, business and community partnerships to support areas of the organisation that do not receive government funding.Areas of focus: Donor acquisition & donor development, trusts and foundations/grants, corporate & community partnerships, fundraising &/or community relations events, and media. Additionally, researching feasibility of and developing action plans for potential commercial projects.

Kerry was responsible for strategy development and delivery of the following areas:• Fundraising – Direct mail appeals, Capital Appeal, Major gifts, Donor development, Sponsorship, Fundraising events, Relationship management.• Communications – Media, Advertising, Promotions, Website, Social media, eNewsletters, Magazine, Yearbook.• Community Relations – Alumni program, Community engagement, Event management, Relationship development.Kerry was responsible for managing the Capital Appeal for The Mary’s Mount Centre, the College’s new performing arts facility.Over four years, and in line with the strategy document she developed, Kerry had overseen the refresh of a number of key communications, including the College's website, eNews, magazine and yearbook. Additionally, a number of new publications were developed.Development of an effective alumni program was also a priority, initially involving significant data development work, and delivering a number of key events and other engagement opportunities.

Kerry was responsible for the redevelopment & management of the membership program and development & management of a comprehensive fundraising program. This included:• Strategy development & program management – donor acquisition, donor development & management, direct mail appeals, online donations, trusts & foundations, bequests, in-memory gifts, community partnerships, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, gifts in kind and pro bono• Redevelopment of the membership program to achieve 423% growth in 3 years (with over 40% of members now donors)• Management of the volunteer speakers/ambassador program• Concept development, writing & editing of key print & online publications including newsletters, sections of the website, brochures, booklets, invitations, sponsorship prospectuses

Kerry was responsible for the development of a series of online information sheets for carers throughout Australia• Development of 60 online information sheets for carers of older people (for carers to access themselves, or as a resource for service providers)• Concept & content development, writing & editing• Establishment & facilitation of consumer & service provider focus groups• Establishment & coordination of a project reference group

In this community based role, Kerry delivered case management services to aged &/or disabled clients.

Following a relocation to Sydney, Kerry joined Sacred Heart Hospice in the role of social worker to palliative patients and their families.

Based at Queen Elizabeth Centre, Kerry provided social work services across neurological & general inpatient rehabilitation services, community rehab and the newly established ‘rehab in the home’ program.
