As Controller, I moved the accounting function from South Carolina to Colorado, and later from Colorado to California, while building and training new teams. I oversaw all day-to-day, monthly and annual accounting processes, ensuring the financial statements were accurate and timely. I executed various accounting-related projects, including new system implementations, in order to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Planned and executed detailed, risk-based financial statement audits. I reviewed financial statements and the appropriateness of footnotes as required for both public and private companies, including acquisitions, foreign currency, goodwill and intangibles, promotional allowances, stock-based compensation and segment information. I was responsible for client & staff coordination and managed staff on a daily basis.
