Responsible for driving the Group wide strategy, development and reporting for the "Do More" pillar of our Positive Impact Plan. Do More is the third pillar for the PIP which is our new Group Sustainability Strategy and focuses on supporting the communities in which we operate.

The Virgin Atlantic Foundation aims to inspire and empower young people from all corners of society to fulfil their potential through education, with a specific focus on STEM education. Their ambition is to support causes and activities across their destination communities that create positive social mobility, creating opportunities to address inequity in educational learning and help young people build career skills for the future.As a member of the board of trustees it is our responsibility to ensure the effective and responsible disbursement of funds raised from employees and customers of Virgin Atlantic in order to achieve the ambitions and mission of the charity.

Global Group Head of CSR covering Fitch Ratings, Fitch Solutions and Fitch Learning. Responsible for all aspects of Group CSR activities globally including strategy, design and implementation as well as all operational requirements, communications, leadership representation and cross business collaboration. Prior to my employment, Fitch had no CSR function and I created solid foundations for the sustainable and long-term success of CSR at the firm.

HearstLab aims to promote and assist investments in female led start up companies innovating in media, technology and data combining cash with a wide range of additional resources and people that provide subject matter expertise, mentorship, connectivity and hands-on help. As a scout my role was to:o Assist in the evaluation process for potential HearstLab investments (pre-seed and seed)o Advise HearstLab teams (a community of early stage, women-led startups) on CSR related activities

Having relocated to the USA I spent time raising my children (including adding one more to the brood), volunteering for a local school and generally enjoying life in the Big Apple! On our return we relocated within the UK so time was spent moving and settling the family in a new part of the country, co-chairing the PTA (and becoming co-chair of trustees for the charity) and looking for a new job.

Responsible for the management of the UK Corporate Citizenship (CSR) department. Responsibilities included all operational aspects including (but not limited to) people management, budget management, employee programs (volunteering, Charity of the Year, payroll giving/matched giving), the community investment portfolio, all grant making procedures and policies, impact measurement and evaluation, governance, social finance and sponsorships.

Marketing Manager for Common Purpose (a global leadership development non-profit)- Programme management: Management of all aspects of a National Awards Scheme for young active citizens campaigning for positive change plus a National Leadership Programme for young professionals.- Programme Coordination: A London Leadership Programme for senior individuals.- Communications, Press and PR activity: writing copy, representing Common Purpose within the Media, drafting press releases and providing input on all aspects of the Common Purpose Brand- Project Management: Creatively devising training activities for staff and course participants to address aspects of social issues including securing and briefing senior level speakers- Strategy: Devising and implementing strategies for key projects including effective marketing, consulting with stakeholders, defining goals, negotiation and influencing to achieve successful implementation.- Fundraising: Managing relationships with key partners and sponsors, authoring reports and securing funding.
