Kerry's most recent novel, "What You Wish For," was published in 2012. Her previous book, "Leaving Unknown" (2010) (published in the United Kingdom by Orion under the title "The Good Luck Girl"), was nominated for the Wellcome Prize in the UK. Her first title was "The Best Day of Someone Else's Life" (2008). All three of her novels have bene optioned for film or television. Kerry also has been a contributing screen writer for television. She is currently working on a fourth book.

Her work has been published on the internet, in trade association magazines, and in Conde Nast publications. Kerry has been awarded a bronze medal at the Association Trends’ All-Media Contest. After seven years with a large law firm practice, Kerry shifted to freelance contract work, specializing in contract law, regulatory law, consumer protection, product safety, Internet regulation, warranties, privacy, marketing practices, legal writing (litigation or business), and legal research. Kerry has practiced on a project, part time, mid-term, and short-term contract basis. Prior to establishing her own practice, she worked at several with prominent D.C. law firms
