• Upgrade of current Windows Application platform from VB 6.0 to C# / .NET• Upgrade of existing data packages, creation of new packages and data conversion scripts using Oracle.

• Business Intelligence development including the creation of a new data warehouses to consolidate financial data from regional systems, the creation of an SSIS package to pull the data into the new warehouse, the creation of a custom .NET web based application to provide this information through a dashboard for business analyst use. • Web Application development including the maintenance of ASP.NET / C# based internal web applications using LINQ to SQL features to connect to a backend SQL Server 2008 database.

Responsibilities included: • Upgraded VB 6.0 applications to C# web services and SQL Server 2005 scheduled jobs. Created new stored procedures as needed. • Estimated and created new BI Applications using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SSIS/SSAS/SSRS solutions.• Provided technical documentation on upgraded and new applications.

• Wrote and maintained web applications and middle tier objects that used stored procedures to connect to a backend SQL Server database. Also created SQL scripts to maintain and add on to the SQL Server data schema. • Developed and maintained system documentation and technical specifications on existing and new systems. • Assisted and led various projects through the Software Development Life Cycle process. Also trained new vendors and employees on these processes in the U.S., China and India.• Business Intelligence development including the creation of data warehouses to consolidate support engineer data from regional systems, the creation of an SSIS package to pull the data into the new warehouses, the creation of a SQL Server 2000 & 2005 OLAP Cubes to make the data available to reporting data specialists. Also maintained source code management for all data warehouse and OLAP cube code using Visual Studio. • Created and maintained documentation for both technical and reporting staff members, provided training for reporting specialists and was a key creator of the Software Development Life Cycle processes for the team.
