For over two decades, my curiosity and love for learning about how to feel, and live well inspires me to continue to hone my craft, driven by a passion for supporting others on their wellness journey, the belief in the healing power of touch and the importance of reconnecting to nature. With a wealth of experience working within the spa and wellness industries, beginning in South Africa and the United Kingdom, I've has had the honour of working with sought after brands, expert practitioners and prestigious spa and wellness destinations as a therapist, training specialist, and spa consultant. I have worked alongside and represented brands such as Dermalogica UK, Elemis, Philosophia Botanica and Esse Skincare to name just a few.I am a integrative facialist, holistic massage therapist, yoga teacher and training specialist. My specialty and expertise lie in creating bespoke facial and body treatments, using a variety of non-invasive, calming, and regenerative techniques, rooted in ancient Chinese wisdom, and combining the healing power of touch with the best in sustainably and ethically sourced, natural skincare. My love for learning is paralleled with my love for sharing knowledge, I am lit up when I am able to work alongside other practitioners and therapists with providing opportunities for empowering and upskilling teams within the spa and wellness space being one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Yoga plays a fundamental role in my approach to my work and my well-being, and I weave in yogic practices into my offerings and trainings, with a strong focus on breathwork and mindfulness to assist clients in restoring balance and helping to instil a more grounded approach to life. My philosophy for wellness is about simplicity, taking a “less is more” approach, prioritising time to reconnect to nature and slowing down so that we can become attuned to the wisdom of our bodies.I am based in Hout Bay in Cape Town, where I have my own business, Kalm Wellness. When I am not in treatment or on my mat, you will find me in nature.
