Administer and manage the finance operations of the Public Safety (police, fire, 911, courts, public defender) and Housing and Community Development Satellite Finance Offices within the City. Prepare and oversee $140M departmental budget, and present annual budget proposals to the Operation, Legislative and Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees and Board of Trustees. Develop investment management standard operating procedures documentation. AIM Bloomberg compliance and administration for public securities trading. Oversee outside consultants, custody bank, legal counsel, and private markets back-office service providers. Supervise support staff, coordinate investment activities with ASRS accounting, procurement, and internal audit. Assist communication department with press releases regarding investment related items.

Responsible for compliance, diligence, legal process, financial reporting, and analysis of Private Markets investments. On-site diligence with fund managers and property reviews. Worked under the Head of Private Markets to underwrite six real estate managers and two private equity managers for approval by the Private Markets Investment Committee. Present underwriting, monthly and quarterly reporting to management and the Private Markets Investment Committee. Assist Portfolio Managers to ensure statutory requirements and reporting requirements are included in side-letters and separate account operating agreements. Review side letters, subscription agreements, amendments, and work with outside legal counsel for Private Markets investments. Development and implementation of internal web-based platform for performance and monitoring private investments. AIM Bloomberg compliance and administration for public securities trading.
